The 2017-18 edition of the UEFA Champions League ball - In action - Covered with grass. The 2017/18 edition of the Champions League is turning out to be quite an interesting one. After winning the tournament in three out of the last four seasons, Real Madrid are starting to slip, while the emerging favourites, for the first time, are the French champions Paris Saint-Germain.

PSG owners, determined to win the tournament, have invested heavily in their squad over the last few years and this season the mix seems to be right. Edinson Cavani and his teammates are a dominant force domestically and abroad, while the usual suspects, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid, are not in their usual form. The second favourite to win this season is Pep Guardiola's Manchester City, whose performances this season have been nothing short of outstanding.

Here are the current odds to win the 2017/18 UEFA Champions League:

Paris Saint-Germain: 7/2
Manchester City: 5/1
Real Madrid: 11/2
Barcelona: 7/1
Bayern Munich: 8/1
Manchester United: 14/1
Tottenham: 16/1
Juventus: 20/1
Chelsea: 25/1
Liverpool:25/1
Roma: 66/1
Napoli: 66/1

Another pleasant surprise this season is Mauricio Pochettino's Tottenham Hotspur, who have proven their ability to stand up to the best. In their last match, at Wembley, they beat Real Madrid with the score of 3:1.

The next round of Champions League will take place on November 21st and 22nd and the match to look forward to is the Wednesday's clash between Juventus and Barcelona.

The tournament final is on May 26th, 2018 and it is taking place at the Olympic Stadium in Kiev, Ukraine.

Will PSG or Man City go all the way this year, or will one of the sleeping giants, Real, Barca or Bayern, decide to wake up come the business end of the season.
