Georgia put together a fantastic season, finishing with a 11-2 record. Georgia's two losses came against the #6 ranked (at the time) team from South Carolina, and the #2 ranked Alabama Crimson Tide. The Georgia/Alabama game was a thrilling contest that showed just how good of a team Georgia is.
Nebraska, on the other hand, finished their campaign with a 10-3 record. Nebraska finished first in the Legends Division of the Big Ten after amassing a conference record of 7-1. Nebraska's three losses came against Ohio State, UCLA and Wisconsin. Nebraska was able to notch victories this year over Michigan, Michigan State and Penn State.
