Football fans can finally rejoice, as the first games of European league action are slated to get underway this weekend. The first game on the docket will be Monaco playing at home against Toulouse in French Ligue 1 action.
Monaco's story was well-documented last season, as they surprised many by outpacing Paris Saint-Germain in French Ligue 1 and also made a deep run in Champions League.
This year, however, might resemble a Leicester City type of pullback for Monaco, as they lost some major talent during the transfer window.
With Paris Saint-Germain possibly purchasing the services of Neymar from Barcelona, Monaco is likely going to have a very tough time this year repeating as league champions.
