The group stage of the Champions League tournament officially gets underway on Tuesday with a full slate of games, including Manchester City playing host to Juventus. In terms of star power, this is likely the biggest game on Tuesday's schedule.

Man City, which is currently enjoying a strong year in the English Premier League, has the edge to win, based on these odds:

Man City, 1.80
Draw, 3.40
Juventus, 5.50

Man City and Juventus are the two favourites to move through Group D, though Sevilla is lurking right behind - here are the current odds to qualify:

Man City, 1.28
Juventus, 1.50
Sevilla, 2.20
Borussia M'gladbach, 4.50

Of the different Champions League groups, Group D is looking to be the most competitive, as there are three teams that have a great shot of grabbing one of the two qualifying spots. For this reason, Tuesday's game holds even more importance, as both Juventus and Man City do not want to give up any points, due to the group being so competitive.
