The biggest mismatch of the Champions League Round of 16 has got to be Manchester City vs. Basel. After a dominating 0-4 away win, City will play host to the Swiss Super League champions at the Etihad Stadium this coming Wednesday.
In his second year as the Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has fine tuned his team to be a winning machine. They have practically already won the English Premier League title and are the current favourites to win the Champions League, ahead of European powerhouses such as Bayern, Barcelona and Real Madrid. City are playing beautiful, possession football and are unbeaten at home this season.
FC Basel will be playing the match at the Etihad for pride and will hope to stage an upset against potentially relaxed hosts. An upset in this case would be a draw.

The odds are overwhelmingly in favour of City going through to the quarter-finals, which would be the second time in club's history to go that far in the Champions League. The furthest they have gone was the semi-finals in 2015/16, under the management of Manuel Pellegrini.
Let's see how things play out on Wednesday. The draw for the quarter-finals will take place on Friday, March 16th, 2018.
