Manchester City, which has been the favourite or one of the co-favourites to win Champions League for the entirety of the tournament up until this point, has found itself in some uncharted waters: on the brink of elimination.
Earlier this week, Liverpool shocked the world when they defeated Man City 3-0 at home in the first leg of their Champions League contest. Not only did Man City get blown out on the road, but this also failed to score a valuable away goal, which will make things all the harder on Tuesday, April 10th. If Liverpool can manage to get one past a pressing Man City offence, they will make it nearly impossible for Manchester City to advance.
Let's take a look at the current odds to qualify for the Champions League semi-finals, courtesy of Bet365:

Liverpool, 5.5
In order to qualify for the next round of Champions League, Man City will need to, at the very least, defeat Liverpool 3-0 and then win in extra time.
If Liverpool manages to score a goal, Man City will need to score at least five in order to advance, as a 4-1 home result for Man City would result in Liverpool going through to the next round due to the valuable away goal.
