The first game back after a short break in the English Premier League will see Liverpool play host to Manchester United in the Saturday early match on 2017.10.14. Both clubs are still holding onto hopes of winning the English Premier League title this season, though Man Utd's chances are admittedly better than Liverpool's. At the end of the day, however, both teams are looking up at the 800 pound gorilla that is Man City, which has been slowly ripping through their competition with relative ease to start the season. Having said that, Man Utd is still tied with Man City at the top of the table, and there is no reason to think that they can't keep things competitive, given their level of talent.
