"Cue Card" Odds On Favourite To Win

On Monday, December 26th, 2016, the King George VI Chase will take place at Kempton Park.

The race, which is a Grade 1 National Hunt chase, is open to horses aged 4 or older, and is run over a 3 mile track.

The race is part of the William Hill Winter Festival.

The event was first run in February of 1937 and was named after King George VI. In 1947, the race was moved to Boxing Day, where it remains to this day.

The total purse for the event in 2015 was £200,000, of which £113,900 went to the winner, "Cue Card".

Speaking of "Cue Card", the horse, which is trained by Colin Tizzard, is the favourite to win again this year.

As a matter of fact, "Cue Card" stands tall over the rest of the field, as he is currently 11/8 to win, far ahead of the rest of the field.
