Usman Favourite To Defeat Masvidal at UFC 251

The bad news? Gilbert Burns to forced to pull out of the main event of UFC 251 after testing positive for COVID-19?

The good news? Fight fans might be getting the highly anticipated title fight between Kamaru Usman and Jorge Masvidal.

According to reports, the UFC and representatives for both Masvidal and Usman are deep in negotiations for a Welterweight title match between the two men. This fight would take place at UFC 251, which is less than a week away.

There are a great deal of logistical details that need to be figured out, though according to reports, both men are willing to take the fight on short notice.

This would, in the opinion of many, make UFC 251 even better.

Burns vs Usman would have been a great fight, though Masvidal and Usman have some history, and Masvidal is one of the UFC's biggest stars.

If the UFC can pull this off, UFC 251 will be an absolute blockbuster of a card.

Usman is an extremely tough opponent for Masvidal, and for that reason, Usman is a considerable favourite to win.

Masvidal is as tough as they come, though Usman proved his toughness as well in the Colby Covington fight.

If Usman decides to stand and bang with Masvidal, this fight could go either way.
