Award is given out in American football to the comeback player of the season. There are some very, very good players that are topping the list to win this year's NFL Comeback Player of the Year award.

Some will shine this season, while others will fall off, never to be heard from again.

Some were off last year due to contract disputes, while others had their seasons ended early due to injury. Others saw their output reduced severely due to sub-optimal situations that they are hoping have been improved.

As of this moment, Jimmy Garoppolo is the current favourite to win the award, as he is currently listed at +300 to win.

"Jimmy G" was having a strong season with his new team, the San Francisco 49ers, before he blew out his knee. The 49ers have an intriguing mix of stars this season, and it will be interesting to see if Jimmy G can lead the club to new heights.

Next up on the list at +400 is Le'Veon Bell, who missed the entirety of last season due to a contract dispute with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Bell is now with his new team and has vowed to come back better than ever. The Jets don't have the best offensive line in the world, so this might be easier said than done, though Bell certainly has the natural talent to come back strong this season.

Jason Witten, who is coming out of retirement to suit back up for the Dallas Cowboys, is listed at +500 to win the award, while Devonta Freeman, another superstar RB returning from injury, is +800.
