Thursday features a large number of World Cup qualifying games, as the likes of Australia, Turkey and China are all in action.

The premier clash of the day, however, will feature two of the best football nations, as Italy will be playing host to Spain.

Spain and Italy are playing in Group G, and neither side should have any trouble advancing to the next round of qualifying. After these two clubs, the group is filled with the likes of Albania, Macedonia, Israel and Liechtenstein, none of which should give Italy or Spain any trouble.

That being said, there are advantages for winning the group, which is why both Spain and Italy will be looking to turn in a strong game on Thursday.

Both Spain and Italy have played one group stage game so far, with Spain crushing Liechtenstein 8-0, and Italy getting past Israel 3-1.
