The Chargers desperately need a win in this contest in order to avoid digging themselves into a deep hole. The Chargers have been very inconsistent so far this season, and they will be looking to shake off a disappointing loss to the Raiders last week.
The Colts, on the other hand, are enjoying a 4-1 start to the season. It will be important for the team to not look ahead to next week's marquee match-up as they play host to Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos.
