Texans Slight Favourites To Win at Home on Thursday Night
Published on October 7th, 2015 9:07 pm ESTThis week's edition of Thursday Night Football will see the Houston Texans play host to the Indianapolis Colts.
The Houston Texas desperately need a win on Thursday night, as they could conceivably move into a tie in the division with a victory. The Colts, on the other hand, could build on their divisional lead with a victory.
Andrew Luck has been battling injuries so far this season and has gotten off to an uncharacteristically slow start. After missing last week's game against the Jags at home, Luck is expected to start on Thursday night.
The Texans, on the other hand, have been held in check by a sputtering offense. The Texans boast one of the worst 1-2 QB tandems in the league, and it is hard to imagine them making the playoffs with their current quarterback situation.
Despite all of this, the Texans are still small favourites to win at home on Thursday night - here are the odds:
Indianapolis Colts, 2.10
Houston Texans, 1.77
Spread
Colts, +1.5 points
Texans, -1.5 points
Over/Under 44.5 points
Over 44.5 points, 1.91
Under 44.5 points, 1.91

With injuries to a couple of Houston Texans receivers, DeAndre Hopkins should be an enormous amount of targets on Thursday night. As a matter of fact, Hopkins had 22 targets last weekend, and I wouldn't be surprised to see a similar number on Thursday night.
The Colts, on the other hand, will likely rely on a multi-pronged air attack that will include T.Y. Hilton and the emerging star, Donte Moncrief.

Don't be surprised if this is a high scoring affair on Thursday night - the under 44.5 points line seems to be in legitimate danger of going down.
