Cincinnati Bengals grounds - Paul Brown Stadium - View from the side - The year is 2017. Two teams who turned in absolutely horrific Week 1 performances - the Houston Texans and Cincinnati Bengals - will be battling on Thursday Night Football this week.

The Texans were absolutely drubbed by the Jacksonville Jaguars in their home opener and looked completely lost on the field. Savage was pulled early in favor of Watson, though that didn't improve the fortunes of the teams. The lone bright spot was Deandre Hopkins, who caught a TD pass and was targeted an eye-popping 16 times in the loss.

The Bengals also had a horrible team on Sunday, as they were shut out at home against the Baltimore Ravens. Andy Dalton was absolutely horrible on the day, while the running attack was stymied at every opportunity.

In terms of this game, it's like the unstoppable force meeting the unmovable object, but in reverse. Both of these teams were so terrible during Week 1 that they are both bound to improve. Watson showed some chemistry with Hopkins, while the Dalton/Green combo will surely get back on track.

Bookmakers believe that the Bengals have the edge on Thursday night - here are the current betting odds:

Houston Texans, +3, +105
Cincinnati Bengals, -3, -125

Here is the money line:

Houston Texans, +139
Cincinnati Bengals, -164

Finally, the total is set at 38 points:

Over 38 points, -110
Under 38 points, -110

-

Neither of these two teams is as bad as their Week 1 performance would indicate.

The Texans are likely going to attempt to get Lamar Miller going while feeding Hopkins the ball, while the Bengals will attempt to get the Dalton/Green connection re-established.

Who do you think is going to win?
