One of the most intriguing matches in the Round of 16 at the 2014 World Cup is the battle between Holland and Mexico.

Both Mexico and Holland surpassed expectations in the Group stage. Holland opened their tournament up with a 5-1 thrashing of Spain and never looked back, while Mexico managed to finish in second place in a tough Group A that included Brazil and Croatia. Mexico enters this game with a great deal of momentum after pulling off a thrilling defeat of Croatia to advance to the knockout stage.

Here are the current betting odds for the Holland/Mexico game:

Holland, 2.10
Draw, 3.25
Mexico, 3.60

So, according to these odds, a successful $100 wager on Holland would yield a total profit of $110, while a successful $100 bet on Mexico would yield a total profit of $260.

Holland will be relying heavily on the offense of Robin van Persie and Arjen Robben in this game, while Mexico will be hoping to get some support from the likes of Oribe Peralta and Giovani Dos Santos.
