Earlier today, Germany defeated Chile 1-0 to win the 2017 Confederations Cup title in Russia.

The tournament is seen as the appetizer for the upcoming 2018 World Cup, which is set to take place next summer in Russia.

With their victory earlier today, many punters decided that they liked what they saw from the German side and would back them to win the World Cup next summer.

The German side is currently 6/1 to win the 2018 World Cup, which many bettors are seeing as a decent value, especially given the way that Germany played this summer.

For their part, Confederations Cup runner-up Chile has also been getting some decent action from punters at 40/1.
