Boxing match between Gennady Golovkin and Steve Rolls is taking place this Friday. Place your bets! Gennady Golovkin will be fighting in the first fight of a 6-fight deal with DAZN this Friday night when he takes on Steve Rolls.

It's tempting to say that this is simply a tune-up fight for Golovkin as he looks for bigger prey (namely Canelo Alvarez) later in the year. As we learned this past weekend with Anthony Joshua, however, anything can happen in combat sports, with one punch changing the entire course of a fight.

With that being said, nobody is giving Steve Rolls a real chance to win this fight, especially the bookmakers, who have Golovkin at about 1/75 to win. Golovkin remains one of the very best fighters in the world, and there is an expectation that he will absolutely crush Rolls.

This fight will be taking place at Madison Square Garden in New York, New York on Saturday evening.

Golovkin, who is 37 years of age, enters this fight with a professional record of 38-1-1, with his lone blemishes (draw and a loss) coming against Saul Alvarez.

Prior to stepping into the ring against Alvarez, "GGG" was perfect, demolishing the likes of Daniel Jacobs, Kell Brook and Dominic Wade.

Steve Rolls is currently 19-0-0 and is the #79 ranked Middleweight in the world. Rolls' perfect record is deceiving, however, as he has never faced anybody at the level of Golovkin. This will be, by far, the biggest fight of Rolls' career and it'll be interesting to see how he does.

Keep in mind that the implied odds of Golovkin's side mean that the bookmakers believe that "GGG" has a nearly 99% chance of winning the fight. You might be tempted to throw some money on Rolls after the upset performance by Ruiz this past weekend, though the odds to do so are quite terrible.

Will we see a second massive upset on DAZN this weekend?
