Ilir Latifi vs Gerard Mousasi Odds

Thanks to an injury to Alexander Gustafsson, Gerard Mousasi will now be taking on Ilir Latifi in the main event of UFC on Fuel TV 9 this weekend.

The injury to Gustafsson occurred just before the event was set to happen, which left the UFC scrambling to find an opponent for Mousasi. Seeing as how the event is taking place in Sweden, the UFC decided to give the fight to Ilir "The Sledgehammer" Latifi, who hails from Malmo, Sweden.

Latifi, who has just ten professional fights under his belt, will be in deep against Mousasi, who is a former Strikeforce Light Heavyweight champion.

Latifi has never fought in the UFC or Strikeforce, while Mousasi has fought against the likes of Mark Hunt, Ronaldo Souza and Melvin Manhoef. Mousasi has a massive advantage when it comes to experience, and this is reflected in the current betting odds for the fight.

Here are the current betting odds for this fight:

Gegard Mousasi, -900
Ilir Latifi, +550

These odds mean that a successful $900 wager on Mousasi would yield a total profit of $100, while a successful $100 bet on Latifi would return a total profit of $550.

Can Latifi pull off the big upset on Saturday night, or will Mousasi steamroll his competitor?
