Manchester City Slightly Favoured To Beat Chelsea

This year's edition of the FA Community Shield will see Manchester City take on Chelsea at Wembley Stadium.
The FA Community Shield pits the winner of the English Premier League (Manchester City) against the winner of the FA Cup (Chelsea) each season. The tournament, which has been running for over 100 years, is the unofficial kick-off to the football season, as full league action gets underway the following week.
While there isn't a tremendous amount on the line in this contest, the game does provide both teams a chance to iron out any last minute kinks. For that reason, both teams are expected to start their top rosters, with other players slated to get subbed in later in the game.
Manchester City and Chelsea have both won the FA Community Shield a total of four times, with Man City's most recent victory coming in 2012 and Chelsea's most recent win coming in 2009.
Again - this game doesn't mean the world, though both teams would like to get their seasons off to a strong start, and the FA Community Shield match would be a great place to start.
