Cerrone vs Pettis Betting Odds

One of the most intriguing fights on this weekend's UFC on Fox 6: Dodson vs Johnson card is Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone vs Anthony "Showtime" Pettis.

These two former WEC fighters are known for their explosive finishes and exciting fights, and it's widely assumed that they will likely produce one of the contenders for "Fight of the Year". Anthony "Showtime" Pettis, as you'll probably remember, is best known for his famous "wall kick" against Benson Henderson.

There is plenty on the line in this fight, as the winner will move closer to a title shot. The winner of Cerrone/Pettis will likely get the winner of the Ben Henderson vs Gilbert Melendez fight that is scheduled for the UFC on Fox 7 event.

Anthony Pettis is currently riding a two fight win streak that includes an emphatic victory over Joe Lauzon at UFC 144. Donald Cerrone is also currently on a two fight win streak, with his last victory coming against Melvin Guillard at UFC 150.

Pettis and Cerrone are bonus machines, so this should be a really fun fight.

Here are the current odds for the Pettis/Cerrone fight:

Donald Cerrone, -110
Anthony Pettis, -120

As you can see, this is a very close fight. $110 wagered on Cerrone would yield a total profit of $100, while $120 wagered on Pettis would yield a total profit of $100. As you can see, Pettis has the VERY slight edge in this fight, but it is basically a pick'em.

Cerrone/Pettis will almost certainly produce at least one bonus, maybe more. Don't miss it.
