Former Champion Slight Favourite to Defeat Darren Till

The July 25th edition of "Fight Island" features some interesting fights, including Alexander Gustafsson making his Heavyweight debut against Fabricio Werdum and Mauricio "Shogun" Rua battling Antonio Rogerio Nogueria.

The main event will feature a Middleweight battle between former champion Robert Whittaker and Darren Till.

Robert Whittaker is looking to rebound following his loss against Israel Adesanya, while Till will be looking to win his second fight in a row since moving to Middleweight.

Whittaker and Till are both strikers, which means that we likely won't see this fight on the ground too much.

It is always a concern when a fighter moves up in weight - will he be able to handle the stronger shots?

This isn't as much of a concern with Till, as he has fought at Middleweight before. Plus, he managed to beat Kelvin Gastelum, who is a very hard striker himself.

This fight is obviously important for both men, as the winner might be the next in line for a title shot, following the planned bout between Costa/Adesanya.

It will be interesting to see how well Whittaker bounces back from his loss against Adesanya.

It can be hard for former champions to get up for fights that don't involve the title.

Till, on the other hand, seems confident heading into this bout, as he called out any number of fighters before the Whittaker contract was signed.
