Cowboys vs Redskins Odds

It doesn't get any bigger than this.

On Sunday Night Football this week, the Dallas Cowboys will square off against the Washington Redskins.

The winner of this game will walk away with the NFC East title and earn themselves a home game in the playoffs. The loser of this game could end up missing the playoffs altogether, depending on how the other teams in wild card contention (Minnesota, Chicago) end up faring on Sunday.

So, to say that this is a big game would be an understatement. This is a MASSIVE game that will have very big implications for both franchises.

The Washington Redskins, led by rookie phenom Robert Griffin III, have been one of the most surprising stories in the NFL this season. The team took a while to find themselves this season, but have since reeled off six wins in a row, vaulting themselves into contention for the NFC East title. There have been plenty of surprising stories this year for the Redskins, including the phenomenal play of Robert Griffin III, Alfred Morris and others.

The Dallas Cowboys, on the other hand, have been sort of stumbling and bumbling their way through the season. Just when it looks like the team is finally getting things together, they will lose an extremely important game. Tony Romo and Dez Bryant have both played very well for the Cowboys this year, especially in the last 4-5 games or so, but the team has suffered due to inconsistent play.
