The Big football matchup. American football that is. The Colts are in it. Who is the hottest team in the NFL right now?

The Chiefs? The Saints? The Rams?

The answer - none of the above.

The hottest team in the NFL right now is currently the Indianapolis Colts, who have won 10 of their last 11 games to make it to the AFC Divisional round in the playoffs.

Let's not forget that the Colts started their season 1-5. There were legitimate concerns about Andrew Luck's arm, as he seemed to be unwilling to throw downfield.

It turns out that the Colts were just easing Andrew Luck back in. After the team's 1-5 start, Luck went off, tossing the second highest number of touchdown passes in the NFL. The Colts were helped out by a strong offensive line, the emergence of Marlon Mack as a legitimate RB1 and a better-than-expected defense. The Colts are very deserving of their spot in one of the two AFC divisional games next weekend, as they eased past the Houston Texans yesterday.

The Colts will have a very tough opponent in the form of the Kansas City Chiefs, who were one of the revelations of this year's NFL season.

The Chiefs, led by likely MVP winner Patrick Mahomes, will look to continue a dream season that saw them go 12-4. The Chiefs were instantly energized by the switch from Alex Smith to Patrick Mahomes at QB, as the team went on to post one of the best offensive seasons in league history.

The Chiefs, however, do have weaknesses, especially when it comes to their defense. With Andrew Luck and Patrick Mahomes going at it, there will certainly be no shortage of touchdowns.
