College Football marquee matchup of recent years - Alabama vs. Clemson. Year is 2019. For the fourth straight year, either Alabama or Clemson will be claiming the College Football National Championship.

With a victory over Clemson this season, Alabama would claim their sixth national title over the past decade, cementing the team as the greatest in the history of college football.

Clemson, on the other hand, would secure their second title in three years with a win next week over Alabama.

For some, the college football playoffs need some fresh blood, and Alabama vs Clemson isn't remotely interesting.

For others, Alabama vs Clemson continues to be the most compelling rivalry in college football.

Alabama and Clemson have both had flawless seasons so far this season, as neither team has dropped a game so far. This made Alabama and Clemson the very easy choices for the #1 and #2 spots in the playoffs. Neither team disappointed in the first round, as Alabama got past Oklahoma and Clemson demolished Notre Dame.

Alabama is considered the more talented team, which is why they are the favourites heading into the final against Clemson. Alabama has the most talented player in the game, as Tua Tagovailoa has been absolutely demolishing the competition so far this year.

Clemson, however, has already punctured the Alabama mystique in the past, and if anybody can beat the Rolling Tide in the title game, it's Clemson.
