In the English Premier League, successfully defending your title is exceedingly difficult given the depth of competition. Chelsea managed to hold off Tottenham Hotspur last season to claim their EPL title, though teams such as Manchester City and Manchester United have reloaded and retooled their teams with their eyes firmly fixed upon Chelsea at the top of the table. Chelsea has the target on its back this season, and it will be interesting to see how they cope.

Chelsea has a chance to ease into the campaign on Saturday, as they are playing a very winnable home match against Burnley.

Chelsea currently has the 1/4 edge to win, while a draw is trading for 6/1 and a Burnley victory is listed at 16/1.

Chelsea's fans will be in a celebratory mood on Saturday, and it would take a total stumble from their side to drop Saturday's contest, as Burnley is expected to be one of the weaker teams in the table this season.

Here are the five players with the best odds of scoring on Saturday:

Michy Batshuayi, 1/1
Alvaro Morata, 8/11
Eden Hazard, 11/10
Loic Remy, 11/10
Jeremie Boga, 8/5

Chelsea boosts one of the most potent scoring clubs in the league, as they managed to find the net 85 times last season. This was the second best total in the league, just one goal behind Harry Kane and Tottenham Hotspur.

Chelsea managed to play respectable football in their own end of the field last season as well, as they allowed just 33 goals to get behind them over the course of 38 games. Burnley should have a very difficult time finding Chelsea's net on the road on Saturday.

Heading into Saturday's contest, Chelsea is listed at 7/2 to capture their second straight EPL title, while Man City is listed at 9/5 to win.

Both Man City and Man Utd have very winnable games this weekend, which means that Chelsea would be smart to turn in a strong effort on Saturday.
