Philadelphia Eagles Seven Point Favourites To Beat Panthers

The Philadelphia Eagles, who own one of the best records in the NFL, will play host to the Carolina Panthers on Monday night.

The Eagles will be without starting QB Nick Foles on Monday night - in his place, Mark Sanchez, who will be making his first start since parting ways with the New York Jets. Despite Sanchez getting the start on Monday night, the Eagles are seven point favourites to win.

The Carolina Panthers, led by Cam Newton and rookie Kelvin Benjamin, are 3-5-1. Unfortunately for the Panthers, they are playing in arguably the worst division in the NFL and can take the lead in the division with a win on Monday night.

Despite Nick Foles being out of the line-up, the Eagles have a number of different offensive weapons that they can throw at the Panthers. You can safely assume that LeSean McCoy will be a big part of the Eagles' gameplan on Monday night.

The Panthers, on the other hand, will be relying heavily on Cam Newton to have a big game. If Newton has trouble getting going, the Panthers don't have much of a chance at all of winning.

Here is the line for Monday's game:

Carolina Panthers, +7, 1.90
Philadelphia Eagles, -7, 1.90

The totals:

Over 48.5 Points, 1.90
Under 48.5 Points, 1.90

Money Line

Carolina Panthers, 3.65
Philadelphia Eagles, 1.30

The big question for Monday night's game is - how will Mark Sanchez perform under the bright lights of Monday Night Football, especially given all of his issues in his final days with the NY Jets?
