New England Patriots Will Place Host To Houston Texans on Thursday Night Football

Fans of the New England Patriots are positively falling over themselves with happiness thanks to the start that their team has turned in so far this season.

After all, the Patriots' top player, QB Tom Brady, is currently serving a four game suspension to start the year. With a back-up QB at the helm, and with Rob Gronkowski battling hamstring issues, nobody expected much to start the season. The general consensus was that the Patriots would likely start 1-3 before Tom Brady returned to save the season.

Fast forward to Week 3, and the New England Patriots have started the year 2-0, despite the fact that Tom Brady has been out of the line-up, and despite the fact that Rob Gronkowski has not played a single snap. In addition, Tom Brady's replacement succumbed to a shoulder injury, meaning that the team had to field a third string QB in the second half of their recent win against the Dolphins.

No Brady? No Gronk? No problem.

This Thursday, the Patriots will look to run their record to an improbable 3-0 when they play host to the Houston Texans on TNF. The Texans have had their own issues at QB this season, as Brock Osweiler has significantly underperformed estimates so far.
