Dallas Cowboys 3 1/2 Point Favourites To Win on the Road
Published on December 4th, 2014 6:40 pm ESTThursday night's game between the Dallas Cowboys and Chicago Bears has big implications for both teams.
The Cowboys are currently second in the NFC East, one game behind the Philadelphia Eagles. By falling to 8-5, the Cowboys would likely have to settle for a wild card spot, which would certainly be easier said than done, as teams like the Lions, Seahawks and Chargers are all vying for the same spots. In order to continue their positive momentum, the Cowboys desperately need a win on Thursday night.
The Chicago Bears, on the other hand, are fighting for their very survival. Currently sitting at 5-7, the Bears desperately need to put together some sort of a run in order to salvage their season. Four straight wins is what it would take for the Bears to even have a shot at the post-season - a loss tonight would all but doom them. Four straight wins for the Bears seems unlikely, however, especially given their struggles so far this year.

Both teams have had their issues this year but the Bears have been particularly bad. Despite having a number of potent offensive weapons (Alshon Jeffery, Matt Forte, etc), the Bears have not been able to get things going. In addition, their traditionally ferocious defense has played poorly.
As mentioned, both teams desperately need wins tonight - who will step up and who will take a step back?
