On Saturday, March 9th, 2013, Bernard Hopkins and Tavoris Cloud will square off for the IBF Light Heavyweight title.

The fight will be taking place in the brand new Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Bernard "The Executioner" Hopkins is, amazingly enough, nearing the age of 50 (he is currently 48 years old). Hopkins has been in more big fights than you can count over the course of his career, and will be looking to score another big win on Saturday night against Tavoris Cloud.

Bernard Hopkins currently has a lifetime professional record of 52-6-2, with 32 of his wins coming via knockout. Over the course of his career, Hopkins has notched wins over the likes of Roy Jones Jr., Oscar de la Hoya, Felix Trinidad and Kelly Pavlik.

Tavoris Cloud is going to be a tough opponent for Hopkins. Cloud, who is the much younger fighter, currently has a perfect professional record of 24-0-0. Cloud has recently reeled off wins against Gabriel Campillo, Yusaf Mack, Glen Johnson and Clinton Woods.

19 of Cloud's 24 wins have come via knockout.

Tavoris Cloud is a slight favorite heading into next Saturday's fight. As you can see, the odds are quite close:

Tavoris Cloud, -165
Bernard Hopkins, +125

These odds mean that a $165 bet on Tavoris Cloud would yield a total profit of $100, while a $100 bet on Bernard Hopkins would return a total of $125.
