The start of another football season means that another Champions League season is also getting underway. As a matter of fact, qualifying for the 2014/15 Champions League is already under way.

According to the oddsmakers, Bayern Munich is currently the odds-on favourite to win Champions League this year, as they are currently listed at 4.00 to win. This comes despite the fact that the club was unable to win Champions League last year after being humiliated by Real Madrid in the semi-finals. Will Bayern Munich be able to rebound following that devastating blow?

Real Madrid, fresh off of their 10th European title, are currently listed at 5.00 to win, while Barcelona are listed at 6.00. Real Madrid are the defending champions and will have the rest of Europe gunning for them this season, while Barcelona will be looking to rebound following a disappointing season. Both Real Madrid and Barcelona made significant additions in the offseason in an attempt to get better.

Here are the current betting odds for a number of other notable teams:

Chelsea, 11.00
Man City, 11.00
Atletico Madrid, 15.00
Paris Saint-Germain, 15.00
Arsenal, 21.00
Borussia Dortmund, 21.00
Liverpool, 21.00
Juventus, 26.00
Roma, 41.00

Qualifying for the 2014-15 Champions League will run until August 27th. After that, 32 teams will begin group competition on September 16th, 2014.

The final Champions League game will be played on June 6th, 2015 at the Olympiastadion in Berlin, Germany.

Will Bayern Munich be able to play in front of their home fans on June 6th, 2015? Will Real Madrid earn themselves another entry to the finals? What about teams such as Barcelona and Chelsea?

This should be a fantastic Champions League season!
