Barcelona Big Favourite To Beat Juventus on June 6th
Published on May 15th, 2015 4:32 am ESTThe 2014/15 Champions League tournament has now been boiled down to just two teams - Barcelona and Juventus.
Barcelona managed to get by Bayern Munich with relative ease in the semi-finals, while Juventus shocked Cristiano Ronaldo and Real Madrid. Practically everyone was expecting a Barcelona vs Real Madrid final, but the scrappy side from Juventus managed to pull through.
Given that Barcelona can put out a line-up that includes Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez, to name just a few, it should come as no surprise that they are currently the clear favourites to win the Champions League final. Here are the current betting odds as of this moment:
Juventus, 5.50
Draw, 4.00
Barcelona, 1.57
According to these odds, Barcelona is seen as having a 63.69% chance of winning outright in regular time, while a draw has a 25% probability of taking place and a Juventus victory has a 18.18% chance of taking place.

There are a total of four Barcelona players who have a better than 3.00 chance of scoring on June 6th - they are:
Lionel Messi, 1.95
Luis Suarez, 2.20
Neymar, 2.20
Pedro, 2.70
Carlos Tevez of Juventus, on the other hand, currently has odds of 3.00 to score in the Champions League final.

Barcelona has four Champions League titles, with their last coming in 2011. They have also finished as the runner-ups a total of three times.
Juventus, on the other hand, has two Champions League titles to their credit, with their last coming in 1996. They have finished as the runner-ups a total of five times, with their most recent second place finish coming in 2003.

The Champions League final is the most watched sporting event in the world. In 2013, a total of 360 million television viewers from across the world saw Bayern Munich defeat Borussia Dortmund 2-1 at Wembley Stadium in London, England. Given the level of talent that will be involved in this year's match, the 2013 record may very well go down.
This should be a great match - will Barcelona be able to come out on top or is Juventus set to shock the football world once again?
