Can Colin Kaepernick lead the San Francisco 49ers to their first Super Bowl since 1995, or will Ray Lewis finish his "last ride" with one final title?

Super Bowl XLVII will take place on February 3rd, 2013 at the Mercedez-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. The game will pit the Baltimore Ravens against the San Francisco 49ers.

The San Francisco 49ers earned their berth in the Super Bowl by defeating the Atlanta Falcons 28-24. The 49ers fell behind by 17 points before rallying to defeat the Falcons. The 49ers were led back by the arm and legs of Colin Kaepernick and by a rock solid defense that should down the Falcons completely in the second half of the game.

The Baltimore Ravens earned their berth in the Super Bowl by defeating the heavily favored New England Patriots 28-13. The Ravens had a big second half - up until yesterday's game, Tom Brady had NEVER lost a game at home while leading at halftime. The Ravens, powered by a strong performance by Joe Flacco, were able to dominate in the second half and send the Patriots out of the playoffs.

This leaves us with the Ravens vs the 49ers for the Super Bowl.

As of this moment, most sports books have the odds for Super Bowl XLVII:

San Francisco 49ers, -4
Baltimore Ravens, +4

The line first opened at -4.5 for the 49ers. After that, the line quickly dropped to -3.5 before settling at its current level of -4 points for the 49ers.

We will have much more on the Super Bowl odds in the couple of weeks leading up to the game next Sunday.

Will the favored 49ers be able to win their first Super Bowl since 1995, or will Ray Lewis lead the emotionally charged Ravens to a victory in his final game in the NFL?

It's going to be some high drama - I can't wait.
