The Coupe de France is open to all teams in French football, as well as any clubs from overseas departments and territories. This results in a massive tournament that involves a wide assortment of teams with incredibly different degrees of skill and talent. Auxerre qualified for the finals by defeating Guingamp 1-0 on April 7th, 2015, while Paris Saint-Germain easily topped Saint-Etienne 4-1 on April 8th, 2015.
