Odds for the upcoming Pennsylvania Derby - dirt track race.  Bet on it! The Pennsylvania Derby is one of the biggest non-Triple Crown races of the year in the United States, with a total purse that equals $1 million.

The Pennsylvania Derby is a Grade 1 race that is run on a 1.125 mile dirt track. The race is open to horses that are three years old.

The record for this race is held by "Bayern", who set the mark with a time of 1:46:96 in 2014. The greatest margin of victory, however, belongs to "Western Playboy", who won by a total of 17 lengths.

Last year's race was won by "McKinzie", who posted a time of 1:52.05. This was the second straight horse that won with the Mike Smith/Bob Baffert jockey/trainer duo, as "West Coast" won the year before.

The first running of this race was in 1979.
