Tim Duncan played his entire professional career for San Antonio Spurs under the famous coach Greg Popovich. He was the first overall draft pick, rookie of the year, five-time NBA champion and a two-time league MVP.

Time Duncan was the perfect example of substance over style. He was a methodical thinking player, a craftsman, always at the right place at the right time. He stayed away from athletic displays and cameras, but instead always put his team first and focused on discipline and game fundamentals. This is how Duncan got his nickname "The Big Fundamental".

During his early years with the Spurs, he played alongside David Robinson and the two were known as the "Twin Towers".
