Sebastian Vettel has a cheerful personality and a wonderful record in the Formula One World. Over the years, the German driver has won four Driver's Championships. He has driven for all the big names in formula one, like BMW, Red Bull, Ferrari, Sauber, and Toro Rosso. Currently, he races for Aston Martin and is scheduled to retire at the end of the ongoing formula one world championship. Thus, the 2022 F1 Season is going to be Sebastian's last.

Start to the Career:

Sebastian started his formula One career in 2007 at the United States Grand Prix, while his first win came at the 2008 Italian Grand Prix. At that time, he was the youngest driver in history to win the formula one Grand Prix. He was only 21 years and 74 days back when he set the record. After starting with BMW, he moved to Toro Rosso for a year before joining Red Bull in 2009. Between 2009 and 2014, he stayed at Red Bull and won four consecutive Formula One Drivers Championships.

The 2010 championship also made Vettel the youngest Formula One Champion at the age of 23. Following that, he won three more titles to make it four in four Driver's championships between 2010 and 2013.

Sebastian Vettel has always maintained a cheerful attitude, making him the fan's favorite. His one-figure salute has been particularly famous among fans worldwide and has earned him great attention and appreciation for it. His trademark one-figure celebration became synonymous with Red Bull's domination between 2010 and 2013.

The Inspector Seb:

Over the years, Vettel has been famous for carefully and closely inspecting racing cars. A recent incident occurred at the Imola Grand Prix when the drivers assembled for post-qualifying testing. However, instead of testing his car, Sebastian went on to inspect other cars. This tendency to inspect different Formula One Cars has been a feature of Vettel's career. Based on that, he has been nicknamed "The Inspector Seb."

The Safety Seb:

Recently, Sebastian Vettel earned himself a new nickname as he was in an online session with his fans. Vettel showed concern over one fan's safety as he thought the fan had been driving and talking on his phone at the same time. Later the fan explained that he was sitting on the passenger seat as his wife drove the car. Vettel expressed great relief and joy at that.

Following the incident, Vettel's regard for driving rules went viral on social media, and fans tagged him as the Safety Seb. Even Formula One tweeted the video of the session with the Caption "Inspector Safety Seb."


Other Achievements and Records:

While Vettel's four consecutive Formula One Championship wins remain the most impressive achievement on his portfolio, he also set records for most consecutive Race wins with 9 consecutive wins. He also shares the record for most wins in a single season with 13 wins in the 2013 season. Earlier, Michael Schumacher had set the record with 13 wins in the 2004 season.


Retirement:

In July 2022, Vettel announced that he would retire at the end of the 2022 season. With only a few races left in his career, let's hope that Vettel finishes his career on a high. Undoubtedly, he has been one of the finest drivers of his generation.
