Ousmane Dembele was a football prodigy during his time at Borussia, with whom he signed in 2016. Playing under manager Thomas Tuchel, he won the DFB-Pokal in his only year at the club.

Dembele is very technical, speedy and agile. As one of the best dribblers in the game, one on one, he is capable of beating just about anyone. Dembele is creative and a very fine crosser of the ball.

After one year in Dortmund a big money move to Barcelona followed, making him the second most expensive footballer in the world, tied with Paul Pogba and behind Neymar.

At Barcelona Dembele earned the nickname "Mosquito", because of the way he seemingly flies on the football pitch. Ousmane is slim, has long limbs and he moves in an unusual way, resembling the insect from the fly family.

Dembele debuted for France in 2016 and was part of the squad that won the World Cup in Russia in 2018. He can play on either side of the pitch as he can use both feet equally well. His special move is dribbling past defenders, while cutting in from the side, creating goal-scoring situations for his team.
