Sports Nicknames - The Problem Child

Jake Paul's professional boxing career has started off quite well. The former YouTuber and internet personality has transferred to professional boxing and remains unbeaten after 4 fights (at the time of this writing). Having become a millionaire from that YouTube adventure and his public love for villains, Jake Paul has become known as "The Problem Child". A nickname that he has gladly embraced.



The YouTuber has been around since 2013, posting videos on Vine. That following was what made him famous and his YouTube channel successful. In that time, he has released music and started taking up professional boxing (following in the footsteps of his older brother, Logan Paul).

Jake Paul has fought 4 fights so far, winning all of them. The first was against fellow YouTuber Deji (the younger brother of KSI), winning by a technical knockout (TKO) in the 5th round. His second fight was against another YouTuber, AnEsonGib, winning by TKO in the first round. His third fight was against professional basketball player Nate Robinson, winning via KO in the second round. His fourth and most recent fight was against former Bellator MMA and ONE Welterweight Champion Ben Askren, winning by TKO in round 1.

Paul has a controversial history to go along with the successful boxing career. He held house parties during the COVID-19 pandemic, calling the pandemic itself a hoax. He has also been accused of sexual assault by TikTok personality Justine Paradise. Paul has denied these allegations.

"The Problem Child" clearly embraced this villain persona. Paul has had a successful boxing career so far, but one could also argue that he has only faced 1 opponent with any sort of fighting experience so far.
