Sports Nicknames - Peaky Jack

Jack Grealish is a professional footballer, who played for Aston Villa since he was six years old and is currently the most expensive English footballer representing the colours of Manchester City.



Grealish is agile, quick-footed and technical. He plays as the left winger and drives the ball forward for his team. He dribbles past defenders with ease and hardly ever loses the ball. It is because of this quality that he was the most fouled player in the English Premier League in 2020/21.

Jack creates chances and uses his dominant right foot to strike at the goal. He can be temperamental and sometimes causes friction with opposing players. It was after one such incident with an Atletico Madrid defender that he earned the nickname "Peaky Jack" in reference to the popular television show about a gang from Jack's native city of Birmingham.
