Davor Suker was a Croatian football superstar striker and a former Sevilla, Real Madrid and Arsenal player.

Davor Suker was a prolific goalscorer who led his country to a third place finish in the debut World Cup in 1998, winning the golden boot and the silver ball in the tournament. He was also the runner up to the Ballon d'Or that year.

Davor Suker or "Sukerman" as he was often called by fans, played with machine-like coolness, precision and reliability. He had an eye for goal and he scored many of them everywhere he played.

In Sevilla, which he joined in 1991, Suker played alongside Diego Maradona and Diego Simeone. At Real Madrid, he was part of an offensive trio on a Champions League winning team that included Raul and Predrag Mijatovic.

At youth level, while playing for Yugoslavia, Suker won the World Cup with players such as Zvonimir Boban, Robert Prosinecki and Mijatovic.
