Cristiano Ronaldo is back at Old Trafford as Juventus visit Manchester United in the UEFA Champions League 2018/19. Bet on it! It will be a reunion of sorts on Tuesday as Cristiano Ronaldo is set to make his return to Old Trafford when his club, Juventus, travels to take on Manchester United in Champions League play.

Cristiano Ronaldo became the superstar that he is today while playing for Manchester United from 2003-2009. Ronaldo enjoyed a tremendous amount of success during his time with the club, as Manchester United would collect a total of nine trophies during the time that Ronaldo played with the club.

Before the 2009-10 season, Ronaldo would join Real Madrid, where he would go on to enjoy his greatest personal and team successes. This included multiple Champions League and La Liga titles, as well as multiple Ballon D'or trophies.

After years of rumblings that he was unhappy in Spain, Ronaldo moved to Juventus ahead of the current season, instantly making Juventus one of the favourites to win the Champions League title.

Manchester United has had its share of turmoil so far this season, largely thanks to the disharmony between manager Mourinho and some of the team's top players. After seemingly saving his job for the time being, Mourinho will be desperately hoping for an emotional win on Tuesday, or else he may find himself on the chopping block once again. Manchester United currently finds itself well off of the pace for the English Premier League title, which is why they are desperately hoping for a deep run in Champions League.
