A Boxing Day clash between Leicester City and Liverpool will be taking place this week.

Leicester City is one of the best stories in all of football so far this season, as they are currently sitting at the top of the English Premier League after 17 games. Teams like Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United, with all of their high-priced talent, are currently looking up at Leicester City in the table right now.

Liverpool, on the other hand, has struggled so far this season, posting a record of 6-6-5 for a total of 24 points. This record puts Liverpool in ninth place in the table, behind teams such as Watford and West Ham.

Liverpool will be the favourite to win on Boxing Day, as evidenced by these odds:

Liverpool, 1.95
Draw, 3.75
Leicester, 3.60

Leicester has been amazing on the road so far this season, compiling a total of 21 points over the course of 9 days, so their journey to Liverpool this week will certainly not scare them. Liverpool, on the other hand, has been mediocre at home so far this year, as they have managed just 1.5 points per game in front of their home fans.

Leicester is unbeaten in their last eight matches, while Liverpool has not won in their last three.

Leicester has had no problem finding the net so far this season, as they have scored 37 times so far this year, including 21 goals on the road. In fact, Leicester has scored more goals on the road than Liverpool has scored over the entirety of their season so far, as Liverpool has managed just 20 goals over their 17 games.

Can Leicester continue their dream season on Boxing Day, or will Liverpool be able to pull off the victory at home?
