Lewis Hamilton, Sebastian Vettel Favourites To Win Azerbaijan Grand Prix

Lewis Hamilton will look to take another step towards securing the Formula 1 Driver's Championship when he competes in the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in late April. Hamilton secured a victory at the Chinese Grand Prix last week and has started off his season in dominant form, as he has won two races and finished second in another. Hamilton, just three races into the year, already has 68 points on the Driver Standings leaderboard, putting him six ahead of fellow Mercedes teammate Valtteri Bottas.
The race for the F1 Driver's Championship will almost certainly come down to Hamilton and Bottas, as they are already enjoying a wide lead over the competition.
The Azerbaijan Grand Prix is the newest addition to the race schedule. There are a total of 51 laps, with each lap clocking in at 6.003 kilometres, making for a total race length of just over 300 kilometres.
The fastest lap on record belongs to Sebastian Vettel, who clocked in with a 1:43.441 lap in 2017.
This is a street circuit with some sharp turns and a very long main straight. This is a potent combination for some thrilling action.
