Bayern Munich Currently 1.40 To Qualify For Finals

Most of the betting world expects that Bayern Munich will square off against Real Madrid in the Champions League finals this year.

Manchester City and Atletico Madrid, however, will be doing their best to spoil these plans. Atletico Madrid, fresh off of their upset over Barcelona in the quarter-finals, will be looking to knock off another favourite when they take on Bayern Munich in the semi-finals.

Bayern Munich is looking for revenge after a rash of injuries cut short their Champions League campaign last season. Atletico Madrid, on the other hand, has virtually nothing to prove at this point, which makes them extremely dangerous for the teams that they are facing.

The opening match between Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich will take place on April 27th, where the home side from Atletico Madrid is listed as the slight underdog. According to the bookmakers, the most likely outcome of this match is a 1-1 draw, which is currently listed at 6.50.

As mentioned, Bayern Munich is the favourite to move on to the next round - here are the odds as of this moment to qualify:

Bayern Munich, 1.40
Atletico Madrid, 2.75

As you can see, Bayern Munich is widely expected to win, though don't blame their fans if they are feeling a bit nervous heading into the end of the month, as Atletico Madrid has already gotten the label of being giant killers in this current Champions League tournament.
