The Tour Championship is set to take place at the East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia this weekend.

This tournament has a very unique format in that the player with the #1 overall seed (based on FedEx Cup points) will start the tournament at -10, the next player on the list will start at -8, the third seed will start at -7, etc. This goes all the way down to the #30 ranked player in the FedEx Cup, who will start the tournament at even par.

The winner of the Tour Championship will also be declared the winner of the FedEx Cup.

Justin Thomas is the #1 seed heading into this event, so he will start the tournament at -10. For this reason, he is the clear favourite to win. Players who are starting at even par, on the other hand, are already 10 shots back of the pace, which is why they have odds of over 300/1 to win.

There are some very big names in this tournament, including the likes of Rory McIlroy, Dustin Johnson and Brooks Koepka, just to name a few. All of these men, however, will be off of the pace when they tee off on the first hole on Thursday morning.
