A total of nine movies have been nominated for the Best Picture award at the Academy Awards this year. In most years, there is usually a clear-cut favourite to win, though that is not the case this year, as Three Billboards Outside of Ebbing, Missouri and The Shape of Water are essentially neck-and-neck to win. Three Billboards Outside of Ebbing, Missouri won the Golden Globe award for Best Picture, which has bookmakers giving it the slight edge to win.
