It will be an interesting duel this weekend as Nico Rosberg, who has pole position for the German Grand Prix, will be squaring off against Lewis Hamilton, the defending World Drivers' Champion and current championship leader.

The last German Grand Prix was held in 2014. This race was also won by Nico Rosberg, which is why he has the slight advantage to defeat Lewis Hamilton, despite Hamilton's special talents. With a lap time of 1:16:54, Rosberg was able to secure the pole position for this year's race in order to give himself the absolute best chance of winning another title.

The German Grand Prix has been held 75 times at Hockenheimring since 1926. The 4.574 kilometer course has its share of challenges, including a number of tight turns that can disrupt any driver over the course of the 67 lap race.

The entire length of the race is 306.442 kilometers.
