Bryce Harper's sophomore year of high school went so well that people were comparing him to LeBron James at the age of 16.
In fact, Harper was so unbelievable that he elected to leave Las Vegas High School after his sophomore year so that he could attend the College of Southern Nevada.
Harper would go on to become the first overall pick in the 2010 MLB Draft, and is currently one of the top players in the league.

Over the course of 23 games, Harper hit for an average of .569.
Harper made 90 plate appearances and had 65 official at-bats.
Harper had 37 hits, 37 runs and 26 RBIs.
Harper would post 12 doubles in 23 games, to go along with 4 triples and 3 home runs.
In his 90 plate appearances, Harper was walked 22 times and was hit by a pitch three times.
In short, opposing pitchers were absolutely terrified to pitch to Harper.

Harper was already dominant from such a young age that the decision was made to move him to college, as he didn't have much left to prove in high school.
The decision would prove to be a smart one, and Harper would end up living up to the hype.
