The MMA glove - Clinched fist - In your face. Alexander Gustafsson will be the heavy favourite to win when he squares off against Glover Teixeira in the main event of UFC Fight Night 109: Gustafsson vs Teixeira this weekend.

The fight, which will be taking place in Stockholm, Sweden, has some implications for the top of the Light Heavyweight division. A win for Gustafsson might earn him the next shot at the Light Heavyweight title, depending on the result of the upcoming Jon Jones vs Daniel Cormier rematch at UFC 214. Gustafsson lost extremely close fights to both Jones and Cormier, and putting him in there against either man again would be an easy sell to fans.

Glover Teixeira, on the other hand, is also looking to get another shot at the title, as he lost to Jon Jones in a title fight a few years ago.

Gustafsson will be looking to put the disappointment of a first round knockout loss against Anthony Johnson behind him when he squares off against Teixeira. That loss took place in front of his home fans in Sweden, so he'll be looking to score an emphatic win against Teixeira this weekend.

Here are the current betting odds for this fight:

Alexander Gustafsson, 1.30
Glover Teixeira, 3.70

Over 2.5 Rounds, 1.80
Under 2.5 Rounds, 2.00

Alexander Gustafsson has lost 3 of his last 5 fights, though those losses came against Daniel Cormier, Jon Jones and Anthony Johnson. Gustafsson's last fight was a unanimous decision victory against Jan Blachowicz.

Glover Teixeira has won 4 of his last 5 fights, including wins over Rashad Evans, Jared Cannonier and Ovince Saint Preux.

This is a tremendous Light Heavyweight tilt, and one that is fitting for a boisterous Swedish crowd.
