The Coronation Cup, which was first held in 1902, is set to take place on Friday, June 5th, and is one of the first horse races to take place in England since the Coronavirus shut down the sport for roughly three months.

The race is sponsored by Investec and is open to horses aged 4 and older.

The race is run at Epsom Downs, which is a turf track that measures in at 2,420 metres.

The purse for the event is roughly half a million pounds, with the winner walking around with approximately £250,000.
